DiGiulian’s competitive career began at age seven, climbing her first 5.13b (8a) route when she was eleven. She began competing in the Junior Female Open Pan-American Championships in 2004 and kept an undefeated profile till her graduation to the senior stage in 2010.

In 2011, eighteen-year-old DiGiulian redpointed two 5.14c routes (Washington, D.C and Red River Gorge, Kentucky) within a month. She graduated from high school that year and contested in some outdoor climbing escapades and international competitions.
